A family of happy brothers and sisters

There's something about my super awesome amazing classmates.

We feel like such a family all the time. At school. After school. When we wake up. Before going to sleep. During holidays. We cover for each other when one can't make it to school and we look out for everyone all the time. A bonus for me for having ALL of them memorizing my prayer times and reminding me all the time.

We have our girls days out whilst the boys have their PlayStation day in...whilst they wait for us to come back. And after we get back, the boys have (nasi lemak) dinner ready on the table.

After a good round of dinner, it's games night in and a round of planning on what to do when weekend comes. All of us!
I love each and everyone of them :)

I'm so going to miss them like crazy when I'm done with Masters! I'm counting my blessings, for the company I work for has presence in exactly their countries. Singapore and Thailand :)

For now...we're ALL travelling together this easter. To 5 different destinations inside and outside of the UK!! Fun times ahead!

Alhamdulillah for simple great things in life :)

Christian Dior takeover

...was what Aiman told my darling coursemate, Pak to do (on Day 206).

Harrods being Pak's grocery store, or sometimes her playground decided to follow orders! Trust me, her school bag is a Prada, and her gym bag is an LV. And here she has a friend who wears sport shoes and carries a Nike back pack to school. So blessed that she still loves me :P

Right after her final paper a day after mine...off we went!!

So, London's Harrods store is playing host to a Christian Dior takeover this spring. MasyaAllah, the exhibition was beyond gorgeous. It's almost impossible that no one comes out of it without wanting to own a Dior bag!

Dior Cafe. Checked!

Easter is here Day 209

Ok, for me, it actually came by on day 205. The day I had a massive period pain on my last day of exam paper. Thankfully, the paper was a good one, so I did not mind having cramps and pains and back ache and what have you! bring it on!

To start day 205, I was complaining to my cousin that I have period pain and I have a paper in a couple of hours.

His response: "Makan panadol pink pink tu!!! Lepas exam I'll see you. I nak rendang ayam please"

Dad: "Good luck! I'm at ***, preparing for my presentation too. You'll do just fine!"

My awesome guy classmate: *in a huff and a puff whilst running* "I got you panadol!! I even broke it into two for you. I just don't have ribena to drown it in"

-______-

Guys will be guys. Very sweet nonetheless! :)

# I Love My Job

Have you guys ever used that hashtag on twitter: #ILoveMyJob
Or is it just a sickness that Aiman and I have? Yes, we love our work :) I'm like super in love. Aiman's like getting to 'super in love' level too these days!! Aish.

So anyway, the UKEC London Careers Fair is just around the corner, and I have been getting many questions about what CIMB has got to offer! Anything related to work always gets me excited and I was very privileged to be selected into the team last year - to create a new programme for the firm! It's a collaboration between CIMB and PwC, called CIMB PwC Fusion. Having worked for both companies previously and loved it, I wished I had the opportunity to try out the programme myself  :(

Having said that, hope this would help to all those who have asked me for details:

CIMB Group will be recruiting in the UK again this Easter! Before I jump into anything further, these opportunities are open to Malaysians, Indonesians, Singaporean and Thai graduates with an expected second class upper.

He is Great!

Even the strongest can break down

...and

even the weakest, at the lowest point can come out tops, MasyaAllah!

Anything is possible. Miracles could happen, and He indeed works in His own mysterious ways :)
Self reminder: For anything and everything that He has given to you, always remember to be thankful :)

A puzzle to complete

Lately, I've been having so much trouble getting enough sleep. Let alone some good real deep sleep Never a night that I do not wake up in the middle of the night, and then having funny dreams with all that happened during the day, or even accidentally falling back to sleep after the alarm goes off.

I must say, it's quite an exciting time trying to piece a future together whilst at the same time fighting and struggling to get on with exams! It's not easy nor short of frustrations but hey, nothing worthwhile comes easy :) After today, I'd be done with 11 papers, sorted a timeline till August, a future and a blur picture in between.

Just... 5 papers and a dissertation more to go and then it's the end of my one year Masters.

Fuh!!! One year full time Masters (at Imperial) is crazy (awesome)!! I know for sure though, once I'm done (InsyaAllah), it will be one of the many greater decisions I've made myself make.

Disclaimer: I do not speak for other academic institutions/universities

Doing something exciting next month for the very first time!! Will blog about it when more information about it is confirmed :)

Of beautiful spaces

Being a girl who is excitable about almost everything means it's easy for one to make me happy. Sometimes, super duper duper happy! One of the many things that I love is, scenery-watching, or particularly, lights-and-building watching. There's something about those beautiful architecture and building blocks that make the inside of me jump a little. On most occasions, it has the power to motivate me greatly!

All. The. Time.

During my internship days at an office in the KL Twin Towers, I'd get all excited and cheerful when it comes to going to work! Not even the shops at Suria KLCC can top off the excitement to clock in to the office. Well, maybe that added with how I'm always excited about working too makes it a double joy.

Having said that, I'm booked for a holiday at these places for the next 2 months!! :):):):)
It's just so beautiful, MasyaAllah!
With great company, now just bring on those sunnies baby! :):)
