On the trading floor, the nature of conversation is always loud and for the consumption of everyone on the trading floor. So you'd find someone saying something just out of the blue, and anyone could answer it.
R: G, you don't happen to have the US oil prices do you?
G: *Looked up* what do you need to know?
S: *Looks at G* Did you have a haircut?
A: So how much was your haircut in dollars??
