Today was Megat's birthday.
But the problem is that, he doesn't eat too much sugar. Not too much carbs. Not too much of fats. and he's very much in LOVE with PROTEIN! So how to get a cake and celebrate like this?!! Geez... You make life for people like us harder Megat. Seriously.
So I thought, no birthday is complete without a cake. I NEED that cake. Even if he doesn't eat it, I WILL. So with all my heart, Tamimi and I dragged our feet to Secret Recipe, praying along the way that a miracle would happen and there'll be the healthiest cake in the world for this very special occasion. Celebration and healthy cake? That's close to non existent!
To my dismay, I think God must have heard my desperate prayers and look what was there in store waiting for me!

You'd be surprise actually to find that there are healthy food out there that is just as deliciously superb as those not-so-healthy ones. haha! It's so yummy, I'd recommend it to those health freak people out there! It's so worth it! The cake was so moist, and the cheese was just perfect and soft, not too sweet, excellent volume of cheese, the top covered with healthy muesli and sprinkles of cereal and best part of all, it's HEALTHY and GUILT FREE consumption for everyone! Well, now I have my doubts on the level of its "healthy-ness". Oh well, whatever. I loved it. So go try it already!
But nothing beats the best birthday cake he can ever get though. Here's to the most protein-filled cake in the world that you can ever find!
