I miss London

In the spirit of Chinese New Year, we all dressed up in red today. To all my readers, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!! Especially to this girl who has spent the entire week with our Malay family. Haha! I love you Phoe :)

It was a very fine day here in london, it's times like these that reminds me of why I miss this very busy city of red buses. It's amazing how you appreciate it even more when you don't need to be here. You get what I mean. But to be fair, when we were students, we never had the luxury to do all these walk in the park to feed the ducks, walk to work and stopping by at Harrods on the way home, going out for late night supper, coming home to mum's home cooked meals, walking silly in the cold admiring the buildings and lights at night (ie: London eye, London Bridge, Big Ben) or even just to have Abang Amir drive us to Oxford for some outlet shopping spree! All because we came here just for one purpose. To study and eventually bring home a scroll.

It's amazing how guilty you feel when you don't touch those revision books even for a night. But then again, the favourite pass time after school was often clubbing and it's so not me. Even the thought of the darkness inside scares me, let alone to walk pass those bouncers. Never. I don't like dark places

It's two days away from the end of my holiday, and I can safely say that I've had the best break ever since I started work. Reliving my Uni lifestyle, with my family and London loves. Getting the feel of working at our Knightsbridge branch (oh so posh this area), and randomly just buying all the things that I used to buy when I studied here - Muller yoghurts, Alpro soya and what have you.

I miss London.
