Malaysian Time
12 am in Malaysia meant that it was 4 pm in London. So, whilst I was already 23 back in Malaysia, because I was in London I was still enjoying the 8 hours time difference being 22 :)
Phoebe was first to surprise me with the prettiest lil necklace from Marc Jacobs that had a lil heart and Eiffel tower, I just had to wear it immediately! In 2009, just before I was scheduled to return back to Malaysia for good, Phoebe, Moon (Phoebe's best friend) and I decided for a little girly trip to Paris - just us girls. It was one of the best holiday getaways I have ever had indeed, eventhough it was rather crazy trying to survive the snow in Disneyland and walking on ice in Paris. It was the company that mattered the most. From then on, we've always had 'the Paris gang' in us.
And then it was Aiman who woke up just before 12 am to wish me from Malaysia and Aisyah came by the London apartment at 12 sharp, to wish me happy birthday, accessorized me with more green presents (by now, I was jetlagged already actually, I kept falling asleep) and to fetch Phoebe. Abang woke up as well to spend some time with Phoebe, Aisyah and I at that moment when I turn 23, London time.
London Time
I woke up in the morning not remembering that it was my birthday to be honest. Maybe because I woke up in another country, a busy city, and the body has not adjusted to it yet. But when you have a perfect other half who makes sure I don't forget my special day, this is what you get!
A SURPRISE delivered at my apartment in LONDON TOWN ON MY BIRTHDAY MORNING!
No, he did not wrap himself up, so to those who thought he was in London, no he wasn't. haha!
Payback time. He was surprised at his own birthday party last year, and he just decided to do the same to me on my birthday. I was well surprised and was the happiest girl indeed!

The rest of the day was just my birthday day out with abang, my cousins the rest of London town at night, because Mama and Daddy threw me a birthday party in London! It was such an excellent day that I was just smiling from the time the flowers came in the morning, all the way till my birthday party ended at night.
