The Raya Build Up

Work has been quite on the fast pace side the past few weeks. Hence you would've guessed it right if you thought I was working a day before Raya. But one thing different on a working day that is before Raya is that, everyone don't mind mind breathing down everyone else's neck, cause no one will actually get annoyed! In fact, everyone were rushing just the same to ensure that everything was completed before the end of the day and after every email, there's either a "Have a good holiday" or "Selamat Hari Raya Alia!". Loved the happy spirit

What more, it was after all the BEST time to be annoying/rushing/pushing people at this time, cause after that, you minta maaf back the day after - on Hari Raya! haha! Ok, please do not follow this advise...I don't ensure you the same results for every single person who gives this a try :P

To be honest, when I was completing my task in the office, for a moment there I forgot that the next day was Raya until the end of the day when a colleague of mine came up to my team and said "Hey! It's the end of the day. Go Home! It's raya tomorrow. IT'S AN ORDER!" That's a first!!

This time, mum and dad came over to Jalan TAR, and we decided to experience the whole walking-at-Jalan TAR to find the best deals for last minute raya shopping stuff. Boy oh boy, I didn't know it was THAT chaotic! I can hardly drag myself anymore after half an hour of pushing through and fighting to walk through everywhere! But man! The experience was priceless :) It's very lively out there and you could feel the Raya mood in everyone. Should try it next year

This year's my first time giving out duit Raya since I'm already working, so I think I may have got overly excited about which envelopes to use, hence why this happened!

This is the time when if you eat straight from the kuali, your parents don't find it rude! :)

So much happiness and good food time, I swear for a moment there, this is about the few times when I don't remember my love for work for a while! hehe

Anyway, here's to a good raya to everyone!
