Business for yourself but not by yourself

There are random times when I go on daydreaming about funny yet true things. Like how I just love working and then working hard in my case means to develop products (only) to make others (investors) out there richer (but never myself). I myself cannot afford to invest in the product that I develop, it’s hilarious! And then how phases of properties get sold out like hot cakes when the starting price is about RM 2.5 million. Must be the same person buying them isn’t it? May just be the same investors who buy my products! Haha! These people are smart! They work hard to earn their bucks before their money start earning for them quite automatically afterwards.

Fun fact I found out at work today!

Founder of McDonald’s, Ray A Kroc passed away on January 14 1984, due to a heart failure. That’s exactly the day abang was born! Got me quite excited at work, I just had to go babble it to my boss. Kroc’s a legend! :) Was joking saying that perhaps it’s a sign that abang was supposedly to take over him. The fact that he has an awesome sister like me who’s like McDonald’s biggest fan, it must mean something.  Buyer selection strategy sorted, what better advantage can you ask for ;)

Read up the history of McDonald’s, and I was truly impressed at how determined he was! Boy is Kroc right about “Business for yourself but not by yourself” and his 3-legged stool philosophy. Suddenly graduating from Hamburger University sounds uber cool too might I add!
Working on a project involving McDonalds the past few weeks has sort of strengthened my relationship with McD. Now that it has been approved, just waiting for the day for it to be issued soon! Think I’ve consumed too much McDonalds whilst working on this project though, not really the most ideal diet. I’m getting fatter by the day *sick*

I also read that Kroc and Walt Disney served the same regiment at the First World War. Which brings me to my second random point and that is me trying to be a painter! I got quite excited about painting after coming back from Paris (this shall be a post on its own, stay tuned!), eventhough I cannot draw for nuts! So I decided to just go ahead on a shopping spree and get all the art supplies that caught my eyes. Spent an hour after work to draw this!
Try it!
I must say, drawing and painting are super fun things to do! Even if it means that your end product might turn out a lil fatter on the cheeks  :P

P/s: To all those who emailed me, will reply to you guys asap ok. Thank you for the encouragement btw, very sweet of each one of you! :) I’ve not been writing much as I was travelling quite a bit past 2 months, but will surely try to find time to write more!! Much love :)
